The honest small print
Is 0.5% really all of it?
From TackNote, yes. Your payment processor charges its own fee to move money, which we show separately at checkout rather than folding into ours. We would rather you see both numbers than one blended one.
Do supporters pay anything extra?
No surcharge is added on top of the item price by us. They pay the item and shipping, exactly as shown before they confirm.
What about withdrawing cash gifts?
Withdrawals are where identity verification becomes unavoidable — payment providers are legally required to collect it before paying out money. Receiving physical gifts never requires it.
Will the fee go up?
If it ever changes we will say so in advance rather than quietly updating a page. The notice period will be written into the terms of service before launch.
